AKE - AKN Flyaway LD3 containers with customized design

Fly-Away Kit ULDs are used for storage and transportation of spare parts and tools, such as spare wheel and tyre assemblies, jacking pads and spare bulbs, and help reduce costly aircraft down time at out stations.

Fly-Away ULDs are designed for safe storage and easy loading and unloading of kit items. For instance. The Fly-Away ULDs are equipped with a sturdy and foldable loading ramp which makes it easy to roll heavy wheels in and out of the container.

The Wheel Cribs can be adjusted to allow transportation of alternative wheel dimensions and numbers. Horizontal bumper rails are fitted with seat tracks for securing of items. 

Smaller items are safely stored in the Out-Board rack and the transparent (optional) share panel wall makes it easy to identify the Fly-Away Kits content. LD3, AKE, AKN containers can also be equiped with customized TCS (Tool Control Solution) Foam to make it even easier to control the tools that is included in the kit.
